Position: Engineer for Green Energy Development

This full time position is for an outstanding individual with qualifications necessary to succeed in the rapidly expanding green energy industry. The selected individual will be both organized and analytical, with a high degree of ambition to further the goals of energy efficiency through analysis, modeling and research. In addition, the selected individual will get to interact with clients, green technology companies, architects, engineers, and developers to further the cause of energy efficiency. We, at ALTANOVA, believe in the amazing potential of green energy technologies and accept the challenges that new technology poses to future development. We are looking for someone to join our team who can understand thermal and mechanical processes and how they impact energy consumption. The potential for future development in this field is substantial, and our recent growth requires a great deal of talent and hard work.
We would like the candidate to posses some, or all of the following criteria for this full time position:

* Master Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Science.
* Experience in project management and/or P.E. license a plus.
* Experience with HVAC equipment with a focus on energy savings or energy analysis, a plus.
* Fluency in written and spoken English required.
* Strong computer software skills with full computer literacy.
* Outstanding analytic and quantitative skills.
* Interested in pursuing a career in the energy field and environmental sustainability.
* Willing to relocate to NYC or lives in vicinity of New York Transit system.
